September 23 is the Day of Slovenian Sport, a day to celebrate the importance of sport, recreation, and an active lifestyle in Slovenia—and what better way to celebrate here in Ottawa than by getting together for a friendly game of balinanje (aka bocce)?
The emphasis is on having fun, meeting people, and celebrating our Slovenian community.
After the game, we’ll head to Hometown or Overflow Brewing for drinks and socializing. It’s a great opportunity to continue the conversation and meet new people.
Where? Kaladar Park, 2554 Kaladar Avenue (near Bank & Heron)
When? Sept. 23, 6:30pm to 7:30pm
