The Slovenian diaspora in Ottawa is small and diverse. With no dedicated community spaces in the region (unlike Toronto and Montreal) maintaining cultural ties from one generation to the next is becoming more and more challenging. This Društvo (Society) intends to grow and nourish our shared roots by working to connect us all and reestablishing a Canadian-Slovenian presence in the region.
The purpose of this site is to create a space where Slovenians in Ottawa can connect virtually across many platforms. Follow or subscribe using the platform of your choice to receive updates on activities and events.
